These are the key supervision minimums your psychology supervision logbook needs to demonstrate. BreezyTrack tracks every one automatically.
AHPRA distinguishes between individual and group supervision hours. BreezyTrack tracks both types separately, ensuring at least 50 of your 80 required hours are logged as individual supervision with your principal supervisor.
The AHPRA 5+1 program requires 1 hour of supervision per 6.25 hours of direct client contact. BreezyTrack calculates this ratio in real time and alerts you if your client contact is outpacing your supervision — before it becomes a compliance problem.
The 5+1 program allows a principal supervisor and an optional secondary supervisor. BreezyTrack lets you invite both, assigns the correct role to each, and tracks supervision hours from each supervisor separately.
Your supervisor can review your weekly entries, leave structured feedback, and digitally sign off on supervision periods — all inside BreezyTrack. No printing, signing, scanning, or emailing. Every sign-off is cryptographically timestamped.
Every supervision session entry is immutably timestamped. If AHPRA audits your logbook, your supervision records include proof of when they were created and that they have not been altered.
AHPRA requires your supervisor to directly observe you at least 4 times per 6-month period (minimum 2 assessment + 2 intervention). BreezyTrack lets you flag and log direct observation sessions separately so you always know if you are on track.
Your supervisor can review all your entries, leave structured feedback, approve weekly submissions, and digitally sign off on supervision periods — at no cost. We believe supervisors should never have to pay to support their supervisees.

The 5+1 program requires a minimum of 80 hours of supervision total. Of those 80 hours, at least 50 must be individual supervision with your principal supervisor. The remainder can be group supervision or secondary supervisor sessions. The supervision ratio requires 1 hour of supervision for every 6.25 hours of direct client contact.
Individual supervision is one-on-one between you and your supervisor. Group supervision involves you and other supervisees with one supervisor. Both count toward the 80-hour total, but only individual supervision counts toward the 50-hour individual minimum. BreezyTrack tracks both separately and ensures your logbook reflects the correct split.
Yes. BreezyTrack supports a principal supervisor and one secondary supervisor — matching the AHPRA 5+1 program structure. Your principal supervisor can approve any entry. Your secondary supervisor can only review and approve entries assigned to them. Hours are tracked per supervisor so your logbook accurately reflects who provided each supervision session.
Your principal supervisor must directly observe your clinical work a minimum of 4 times per 6-month period — at least 2 observation sessions of assessment activities and at least 2 of intervention activities. Direct observation can be live (watching through a one-way mirror or in the room) or recorded on video. Video observations must clearly show both you and the client's facial expressions.
You invite your supervisor using their email address — they get a free BreezyTrack supervisor account. When you submit a week's entries, your supervisor receives a notification and can review each entry, leave comments, and sign off with a digital signature. The sign-off locks those entries with a cryptographic timestamp. Your supervisor never needs to pay — only interns require a subscription.
No. Supervisors use BreezyTrack completely free. They can manage multiple supervisees, review entries across all of them, leave structured feedback, and digitally sign off on weekly submissions — all at zero cost. Only the provisional psychologist (the intern) needs a paid subscription.
Yes. BreezyTrack's progress dashboard will show that your supervision ratio is falling behind if you accumulate client contact hours without corresponding supervision hours. It won't prevent you from logging entries, but the dashboard will clearly show the gap so you can follow up with your supervisor.
